To be eligible for the 2010/2011 National Defense Transportation Association scholarship, applicants must have completed thirty semester hours by January 1, 2011. Candidates must be actively pursuing a degree in their chosen field. Applicants preparing for careers in the transportation or logistics field are especially encouraged to apply.

Participation in any of the following is desirable:
NROTC, AROTC, AFROTC, RESERVES,
NATIONAL GUARD
Application deadline is October 31, 2010. Scholarships will be awarded no later than December 2, 2010. Recipients must be present at the NDTA luncheon on this day to receive scholarship award money.
